Data shows that industrial enterprises above designated size nationwide achieved 4655.82 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 11.7%, a decrease of 3.8 percentage points compared to January July.


Among the 41 major industrial industries, the paper and paper products industry achieved a total profit of 15.17 billion yuan from January to August, a year-on-year decrease of 39.8%; The printing and recording media replication industry achieved a total profit of 19.15 billion yuan from January to August, a year-on-year decrease of 9.6%. The profit decline has narrowed compared to January July.

In terms of operating revenue, from January to August, industrial enterprises above designated size achieved operating revenue of 84.33 trillion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.3%. Among them, the paper and paper products industry achieved a revenue of 871.59 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 4.4%; The printing and recording media replication industry achieved a revenue of 409.25 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 7.2%.
